What Is the Observatory?
The National Road Safety Observatory collects, processes, and publishes the country’s road safety data so that preventive decisions are based on an evidence-based picture.
It operates as Directorate D4 of ODYSEA and collaborates with the relevant agencies, the academic community, and road network management bodies. It monitors trends in road safety indicators over time, identifies hazardous locations, and provides data to support national road safety initiatives.
